About Nominal Code

Nominal Code is my independent software studio.

I started out in Digital Art and Visual Effects, earning an MFA before eventually finding my way into software engineering. Along the way, I realized I was just as interested in building the tools as I was in using them.

Over the past decade, I’ve built applications across mobile, web, and connected devices. My work spans Laravel, Swift, React, React Native, TypeScript, and IoT systems—but more importantly, it’s focused on creating software that is simple, reliable, and built with care.

In aerospace, “nominal” means everything is functioning within normal parameters. No surprises. No drama. Just systems doing exactly what they should.

That’s the goal.
